Set up an efficient crop farm layout

Designing your farm for Client Harvest Mod

While the mod works with any crop layout, certain designs maximize its benefits.

Recommended layout

1. Plant crops in straight rows or grid patterns

2. Leave yourself enough space to walk between rows without accidentally clicking adjacent crops

3. Ensure all crops are at ground level or easily reachable without jumping

4. Face each row in a consistent direction as you harvest

Why layout matters

Because right-click is now your only input, precision matters. Crops planted too close together may cause you to accidentally harvest the wrong block. Straight rows let you move predictably and maintain a steady rhythm.

Harvesting workflow

Walk along one row, right-clicking each mature crop twice. The double-click action breaks and replants in one fluid motion. Move to the next row and repeat. This linear approach is faster than jumping between scattered crops.
