How to Open the Advancement Window by Clicking a Chat Message

Click the advancement name in chat

When you earn an advancement, the mod turns the advancement's name in the chat notification into a clickable link. Instead of typing a command or digging through menus, hover your cursor over the advancement text in the chat box. The text will highlight to show it is interactive. Left-click it, and the Advancement window opens directly on the tab and entry you just earned.

What happens after you click

Once the screen opens, you land on the correct advancement tab with the relevant entry selected, so you can immediately read its description and see its parent and child advancements. This is the whole point of the mod: in a large modpack with hundreds of advancement tabs, you skip the manual scrolling entirely. Close the window with the usual inventory/escape key when you are done.

If clicking does nothing

Make sure you are clicking the advancement name itself, not the surrounding chat text or another player's message. If the chat has scrolled or the message was pushed out of the visible area, the link may no longer be reachable — scroll the chat up to find it. Links only exist for advancement notifications, not for ordinary chat lines, so a normal message will never open the window.
