How to Place Captured Mobs Back Into the World

Placing Mobs Using Mob Heads

Once you've captured a mob, you can release it back into the world:

1. Hold the mob head item in your hand

2. Right-click on a block in the world where you want to place the mob

3. The mob will spawn at that location

Placement Mechanics

The mob spawns on top of the block you clicked. Make sure you have enough space above the block for the mob to appear—mobs need appropriate clearance based on their size.

Alternative Placement Methods

You can also place mobs by:

• Dropping into boats or minecarts: Right-click a boat or minecart while holding a mob head to place the mob inside
• Using dispensers: Load a mob head into a dispenser to automatically spawn the mob when the dispenser is activated
