Removing Potion Particles From Your Screen Without Losing the Effect

The swirl of colored particles around your character when you drink a potion or step into a beacon can be genuinely distracting, especially in first person where they sit right at the edge of your vision. CleanView's entire purpose is to strip those particles out while leaving the actual potion logic untouched.

What Gets Hidden

CleanView removes particles that originate from potion effects and are attached to your character or to whatever entity the camera is currently riding or viewing. That covers the ambient swirl you see on yourself after drinking, splash potions, tipped arrows, and beacon or conduit effects.

What Stays the Same

  • The potion effect still applies its full duration and amplifier.
  • Your HUD effect icons in the inventory screen are unaffected.
  • Damage, healing, speed, regeneration, and every other mechanical outcome work normally.
  • Other players and mobs still show their own particles to you unless the camera is attached to them.

Why Players Use It

Beyond looking cleaner, hiding your own particles helps in PvP and recording. The swirl can obscure your crosshair or the edge of a target, and it clutters footage. Because CleanView is client-side, it changes only what you see — nothing about your world or other players is altered, so it is safe to use on servers that permit client-side visual mods.
