Finding Underwater Structures and Loot with Clear Water

Spotting Structures from Above

With the Clean Water Resource Pack installed, you can now scout for underwater structures like ocean ruins, shipwrecks, and dungeons without diving. Stand on a boat or at the water's edge and look down through the clear water to identify structures on the seafloor.

Efficient Loot Hunting

1. Scan shallow areas first — Rivers and small lakes are easiest to see through completely

2. Look for distinctive shapes — Shipwrecks have a recognizable hull outline; ocean ruins show brick patterns

3. Mark promising spots — Use torches or markers on nearby land to remember coordinates

4. Prepare diving gear — Once you've spotted something, gather your tools and enchanted gear before descending

The clear water also reveals scattered items on the seafloor, so you can spot dropped loot or resources from the surface. This saves time and oxygen compared to blindly searching underwater. The gentle wave effects help you identify depth changes—darker areas usually indicate deeper water where more valuable structures spawn.
