How to turn on the classic enchantment glint in your game

Enable the pack

The pack only changes the shimmer on enchanted items, so you can switch it on or off at any time without affecting your world.

1. From the main menu or the pause menu, open Options.

2. Click Resource Packs.

3. Find Classic Glint Resource Pack in the *Available* list on the left. Hover over it and click the arrow to move it to the *Selected* list on the right.

4. Click Done. Minecraft reloads its resources, which may take a few seconds.

Check that it worked

Hold an enchanted item, such as an enchanted tool, a piece of enchanted armor or an enchanted book. The shimmer should look stronger and more visible than in newer vanilla versions.

If the glint looks unchanged:

• Make sure the pack is in the right-hand *Selected* list, not the left.
• Press F3 + T to reload resources.
• Check whether another pack is overriding it (see the guide on pack order).

To go back to the default look, open the same screen and move the pack back to the *Available* list.
