How do I craft an enchanted golden apple with this mod?

What exactly do I need for the recipe?
You need one regular apple and eight blocks of gold. Gold ingots and gold nuggets won't work, and neither will a normal golden apple in place of the apple.
Can I craft it in my 2x2 inventory crafting grid?
No. The recipe uses eight gold blocks plus an apple, which is nine items, so it needs the 3x3 grid of a crafting table.
How many gold ingots does one enchanted golden apple cost?
Each gold block is crafted from nine gold ingots, so eight blocks cost eight times that. Plan a big gold supply before you start, and craft the gold blocks first so you can see how many you have.
The recipe isn't working. What should I check?
