Set Up Multiple Classes with Different Roles

Plan Your Class System

Decide what roles you want: tank, damage dealer, healer, ranged, support, etc. Each class should have distinct starting gear, stat changes, and abilities.

Configure Each Class

In class_enhancement.toml, use separate custom class slots for each role. For example:

  • Tank: High max health, heavy armor, shield
  • Ranged: Bow, arrows, speed boost, lower health
  • Support: Healing potions, weak stats, utility items

Give each a clear name and description so players understand their purpose.

Balance Stats and Gear

Ensure no single class is overpowered. A tank might have more health but slower movement. A ranged class gets speed but less armor. Use attribute commands to fine-tune these trade-offs.

Test All Classes

Create a new world or use a test area. Select each class and verify:

  • Starting items appear correctly
  • Stats apply as intended
  • Commands execute without errors
  • Classes feel distinct and balanced

Adjust values in the config and reload until satisfied.
