Setting Up and Customizing Your City World

Creating a New City World

City World Re Forged replaces your standard world generator with procedural urban landscapes. The setup process is straightforward and happens during world creation.

Initial Setup Steps

1. From the main menu, click Create New World.

2. Navigate to the World tab and select CityWorld as your world type.

3. Click Customize to access style options. Available styles include Modern, Apocalypse, and others depending on your mod configuration.

4. Adjust any additional world settings as desired, then create and enter your world.

Understanding Your Generated City

Once loaded, you'll spawn in a procedurally generated city with named streets, districts, and buildings. The mod generates endless cities based on your world seed, meaning the same seed always produces the same city layout. Use /cityinfo to see street names and district information at your location. Different areas feature distinct architecture—downtown highrises, industrial zones, residential neighborhoods, and parks with integrated natural biomes.
