How to Install and Apply CIT Resource Packs After Patching

Where CIT Packs Go

CIT Resewn reads custom item texture packs the same way it does on Fabric. After CIT Resewn NeoPatcher gets the mod running, you still need actual CIT packs to see any effect. These are resource packs that contain a citresewn folder (or the older cit folder structure) with .properties files and matching textures.

Applying a Pack

1. Download a CIT-compatible resource pack. These are often labeled for OptiFine CIT or CIT Resewn specifically.

2. Place the pack's zip or folder into your resourcepacks directory.

3. In-game, open Options, then Resource Packs, and move the CIT pack to the active side.

4. Apply and reload. Rename an item in an anvil or hold an enchanted item to trigger the CIT condition defined by the pack.

If Textures Do Not Change

Check that the pack actually targets CIT Resewn and not only OptiFine's proprietary format. Some packs rely on features CIT Resewn does not emulate. Also confirm the pack is above any pack that overrides the same item textures, since load order decides which texture wins.
