How do I open the mod settings?
Type /cistier in chat to open the settings menu and leaderboard search tool. You can also access it through Mod Menu if you have that installed.
Why isn't my tier badge showing above my head?
Check your settings by typing /cistier and make sure the nametag badge toggle is enabled. Your server may also have disabled tier badges using custom server messages, in which case you won't see them even if your settings are on.
Can I choose which game mode tier displays on my name?
Yes—open /cistier settings and set your game mode priority order. The mod will display whichever tier is highest in your priority list, or your overall highest rank if you prefer.
How do I look up another player's full stats and rank history?
Type /cistier in chat to open their profile screen, which shows their rank, points, levels, and tier history across all game modes.
Can I turn off tier badges just in chat but keep them on nametags?
Yes—each display location (nametags, chat, and tab list) has its own toggle in the /cistier settings menu, so you can customize visibility independently.
What if I don't see a player's tier badge even though they have one?
Make sure you've enabled badges for the display location you're looking at (nametag, chat, or tab list). If badges are on but still missing, the server may have hidden them, or the player may not have a rank in any active game mode.
How does the mod decide which tier to show if I play multiple game modes?
The mod uses your game mode priority order set in /cistier settings—it displays the tier from whichever mode is ranked highest in your priority list. You can also toggle individual game modes on or off to exclude them from this calculation.
Can I search the leaderboard from inside the game?
Yes—open /cistier to access the in-game leaderboard search tool, where you can look up player rankings and detailed stats without leaving Minecraft.
Do tier badges show in the tab player list?
Yes, if you enable the tab list toggle in /cistier settings. You'll see tier badges next to player names when you press Tab to view the player list.
What happens to my tier badge if the ranking system updates?
Your tier badge updates automatically when the ranking data refreshes. If your rank changes, your displayed tier will update the next time the mod syncs with the ranking system.
