Start in a Custom Dimension from Another Mod

Compatibility with Other Mods

Choose Dimension Mod automatically detects and includes dimensions added by other mods. When you create a new world with multiple mods installed, custom dimensions will appear alongside vanilla options.

Selecting a Custom Dimension

1. Create a new world with Choose Dimension Mod and other dimension-adding mods installed

2. On first join, the dimension selection screen will display all available dimensions

3. Look for the custom dimension you want to start in—it will be listed by name

4. Click to select it and confirm

5. You'll spawn directly into that custom dimension

Finding Your Chosen Dimension

Custom dimensions appear in the selection list with their mod-defined names. If you're unsure which dimension is which, hover over options to see additional information if available.

Modpack Considerations

In modpacks with many dimension mods, your selection screen may be quite long. Take time to review all options before choosing. Remember that this selection only applies to your first spawn—after that, you'll need to use the mod's teleportation or travel systems to visit other dimensions.
