Set Your Starting Dimension on First Join

Opening the Dimension Selection Screen

When you create a new world and join for the first time, a screen will automatically appear asking you to choose your starting dimension. This happens before you spawn into the world.

Selecting Your Dimension

1. Look at the list of available dimensions displayed on the screen

2. Click on the dimension where you want to begin your playthrough

3. Confirm your selection

4. You will spawn in your chosen dimension instead of the default starting location

Important Notes

This choice only applies when you first join a newly created world. Once you've spawned and played, changing dimensions later requires normal travel methods like Nether portals or other mod-added teleportation.

If you're playing on a server, the dimension selection screen will still appear on your first join, allowing each player to choose their own starting point independently. This means different players can begin in different dimensions on the same server world.

The mod works with any dimension added by other mods, so your available options depend on which mods are installed alongside Choose Dimension.
