Create Maps for Different Areas

Since the simplified recipe makes maps cheaper, you can craft several maps to explore and document different regions. Gather enough paper and dye for each map you want to create—this is far more efficient than the vanilla recipe.

Organize Your Maps

Store completed maps in labeled item frames or chests so you can quickly reference which map covers which region. Consider organizing by direction (North Map, South Map) or by biome type (Forest Map, Desert Map).

Expand Your Exploration

With multiple maps, you can systematically explore your world without losing track of where you've been. Maps are especially useful for:

• Locating distant biomes
• Marking dangerous areas or mob spawners
• Planning travel routes between bases
