How to Resize and Move the Chat Box in Chat Plus

Unlocking the chat box

Open the chat with your normal chat key and look for the small drag handle or resize grip that Chat Plus adds to the chat frame. If you do not see it, open the mod's config screen from the mod list and make sure the chat box is set to unlocked or movable. Some setups keep it locked by default so you do not nudge it during combat.

Dragging and resizing

Once unlocked, click and hold the edge or corner of the chat box and drag it to reposition it anywhere on screen. To resize, grab the corner grip and pull outward to widen or inward to shrink. Chat Plus lets you change both the overall size and the position independently, so you can keep a tall narrow chat on one side or a short wide one along the bottom.

Fine tuning the look

In the config you can also adjust background color, opacity, padding, and line spacing. Increase padding if text feels cramped against the border, and lower opacity if the chat blocks too much of the world. If your changes do not stick, check whether a separate profile or per-server setting is overriding your global config, and reapply there.
