Understand and Manage Faction Reputation

Check Your Faction Standing

Use the command /changedsynergy reputation to display your global faction standings and local Light-faction reputation. This shows which factions view you favorably and which are hostile. Different regions may have different faction territories, so your reputation can vary by location.

Influence Faction Relations

Interacting with creatures from specific factions—talking, bonding, giving gifts—gradually shifts your reputation with that faction. Helping faction members or defending their outposts improves standing, while harming them or siding with rivals decreases it. Some factions may send pursuit squads if your reputation drops too low (configurable in settings).

Use Reputation Strategically

Positive faction reputation can unlock trading opportunities and reduce hostility in faction territories. Bonded creatures from a faction may provide faction-specific benefits or defend outposts alongside you. If pursuit squads are enabled and you're being hunted, improve your reputation with that faction through peaceful interaction or by completing tasks for their members.
