How do I get colored chalk in this mod?
Craft colored chalk the same way you craft the base Chalk mod's chalk, but substitute a dye of the color you want for the default ingredient. Each of the 15 Minecraft dye colors produces its matching chalk, and plain white chalk is still craftable without dye.
Do I need the base Chalk mod installed for this to work?
Yes, this is an addon, so it requires the original Chalk mod to be installed alongside it. Without the base mod, the colored chalk items won't function or may not appear at all.
How do I actually draw a mark on the ground?
Hold a piece of colored chalk in your hand and right-click the surface you want to mark. The mark appears where you're aiming, and you can keep right-clicking to place more marks in a line or pattern.
How do I erase chalk marks I don't want anymore?
Use the eraser tool from the base Chalk mod on the marks you want to remove. Sneak while using it if you only want to clear a single mark instead of a wider area.
Can I place different colored chalk marks next to each other?
Yes, each chalk color places its own independent mark, so you can mix colors freely on the same surface. This is what makes the addon useful for labeling, maps, and minigame boundaries.
Why isn't my colored chalk placing any marks?
Make sure you're aiming at a solid, markable surface and that you're actually holding the chalk, not a different item. If marks still won't place, check that the base Chalk mod is loaded and that the surface isn't already covered by an existing mark.
Does colored chalk work on all block types?
