Troubleshoot Missing or Incorrect Ship Models

Common Issues

Ships appear as vanilla boats: OptiFine is not installed or not active. Verify OptiFine appears in your pause menu. Restart your launcher and select OptiFine as your active profile.

Ships look wrong or have missing textures: The resource pack may not have loaded properly. Go to Settings → Resource Packs, remove Centurion Ships, close the menu, reopen it, and re-add the pack.

Only some ships display correctly: Check that all wood types' resource files are present. Corrupted downloads can cause partial loading. Re-download the resource pack.

Verification Steps

1. Confirm OptiFine is running (check pause menu)

2. Confirm Centurion Ships is at the top of your active resource packs list

3. Create a new boat and place it immediately

4. If still broken, try removing all other resource packs temporarily

5. Restart the game completely

If issues persist after these steps, your OptiFine and resource pack versions may be incompatible. Ensure both are for the same Minecraft version.
