How to Edit a Mod's Config Through Catalogue

Finding the Config Button

Not every mod exposes a config, but many do. Select a mod in the Catalogue list and look at its detail panel. If the mod author provided a config, a Config button appears. Click it to open an editing screen without leaving the game.

Editing and Saving

1. Select the mod you want to configure.

2. Click the Config button in its panel.

3. Adjust the options shown. Depending on the mod, these may be toggles, sliders, text fields, or dropdowns.

4. Save your changes using the button provided on that screen.

Some configs require a game restart or a world reload before they take effect. If a change seems to do nothing, check the mod's own documentation for whether it needs a restart.

If the Config Button Is Missing

A missing button usually means one of two things: the mod has no config at all, or it uses a config system Catalogue cannot edit directly. In that case, install Configured, which Catalogue is compatible with and which adds config editing for many more mods. With Configured present, the same Config button will often appear where it previously did not.
