Organize Multiple Bases or Outposts with Different Colors

Planning Your Color Scheme

Assign each base or outpost a unique, easily distinguishable color. For example: red for your main base, blue for mining outposts, green for farms, and purple for nether bases.

Creating Individual Zones

1. Open your map and Zone Painter

2. For each location, select Chunk mode and paint the chunks it occupies

3. Assign a unique color to each zone

4. Name each zone descriptively: "Main Base," "Iron Mine," "Wheat Farm," etc.

Viewing Your Network

Once created, all your zones appear simultaneously on both minimap and world map. The color coding makes it instant to identify which location you're looking at. You can rename or recolor zones anytime if your base purposes change.

Dimension-Specific Organization

Since zones save separately per dimension, you can use the same color scheme across the Overworld, Nether, and End without confusion. This system scales well whether you have 2 bases or 20, keeping your map organized and your travels efficient.
