How do I hold out an item to give it to someone?
Pick up the item you want to share in your main hand, then press the hold out keybind (default is H). Your character will extend their arm with the item visible for other players to interact with.
How do I pick up an item someone is holding out?
Look at the item in the other player's held out hand and right-click on it. The item will transfer to your inventory if you have space.
What keybind do I use to hold out items?
The default keybind is H, but you can change it in your controls settings or the mod's configuration file to any key you prefer.
Can I hold out multiple items at once?
No, you can only hold out one item at a time since it must be in your main hand. To trade multiple items, hold out one item, let the other player take it, then repeat with the next item.
What happens if my inventory is full when I try to pick up a held out item?
The item won't transfer to your inventory. You'll need to make space first, then right-click on the held out item again.
Do I need to be in creative mode to use this mod?
No, the mod works in both survival and creative mode. You can hold out and trade items in either mode.
Can I hold out items from my offhand?
No, only items in your main hand can be held out. Items in your offhand won't be visible for trading.
Does this mod work on multiplayer servers?
Yes, as long as the server has the mod installed, you can hold out and trade items with other players on the server.
What if I press the keybind again while holding out an item?
Pressing the keybind again will cancel the hold out animation and return your arm to normal.
Can I hold out items while moving or in combat?
Yes, you can move freely while holding out an item, but other players can still right-click to take it from you at any time.
