Enable Freecam to Scout Locations Without Moving Your Character

Activate Freecam Mode

Freecam lets you fly your camera around the world independently of your character's position. This is useful for scouting terrain, planning builds, or exploring without exposing yourself to danger.

1. Open your mod keybinds menu (usually accessible from mod settings or in-game controls)

2. Locate the Freecam toggle key and press it to activate

3. Your character will freeze in place while your camera becomes free to move

4. Use WASD to move the camera forward, backward, left, and right

5. Use Space and Shift (or your configured up/down keys) to ascend and descend

6. Look around normally with your mouse

Exit Freecam

Press the Freecam toggle key again to return control to your character. Your character will resume at their original position. This is safe to use in survival mode—your character won't take damage or fall while in freecam.
