Switch to C4Music and Remove Post-Nether Update Tracks

Activating the Resource Pack

C4Music Resource Pack works like any standard Minecraft resource pack. Place the downloaded file into your resourcepacks folder, then open the Resource Packs menu in your world or main menu settings. Find C4Music in the available packs list and move it to the active side. Make sure it appears above any conflicting music packs in your load order.

What Changes

Once activated, your in-game soundtrack will shift to feature C418's original compositions from Minecraft Volumes Alpha & Beta. Music tracks introduced after the Nether Update will no longer play during exploration, combat, or menu screens. This creates a cohesive audio experience focused entirely on the classic era of Minecraft's sound design.

Verifying the Change

Load into a world and listen during different activities—exploring caves, the Nether, or the End. You should hear only the nostalgic, early-game soundtrack. If you still hear newer tracks, check that C4Music is positioned at the top of your resource pack list and that no other music packs are interfering.
