Swap Materials Across Your Blueprint

Opening the Material Swap Tool

Access the material swap feature from the blueprint options menu. This lets you replace one block type with another across the entire ghost projection without modifying the original file.

Performing a Swap

Select the block type you want to replace (for example, oak wood) and choose what it should become (for example, dark oak wood). The ghost projection updates instantly to show the new material throughout the entire structure.

Use Cases

Material swapping is perfect for:

  • Adapting a blueprint to match your world's aesthetic
  • Testing different color schemes before committing
  • Using available materials when you don't have the original blocks
  • Creating variations of the same structure

Important Notes

Swaps are temporary and only affect the current projection—your original blueprint file stays unchanged. You can perform multiple swaps in sequence, and each one updates the material list so you know what to gather. This is especially useful when building with friends who might have different block availability.
