BUILD BATTLE PLUS Map FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I start a new match?
Enter the lobby and gather your players (you can play solo or with up to three friends). Once everyone is ready, activate the match start to begin the first building round.
Can I change the build theme before a round starts?
Yes, most match setups allow you to customize the build theme during the lobby phase before the timer begins. Check your match settings to confirm theme options are available.
What happens if I run out of building time?
When the timer ends, your plot locks and you move into the voting phase. You cannot add or remove blocks after time runs out, so plan your build accordingly.
How does the voting system work?
After building ends, all players walk around and view each completed plot, then cast a vote for their favorite design. The player with the most votes wins that round.
Can I vote for my own build?
Most BUILD BATTLE maps prevent you from voting for your own plot to keep competition fair. You must vote for another player's work.
Is there a way to practice building alone?
Yes, you can start a solo practice round to build and refine your skills without competing against others or worrying about time pressure.
Do all players get the same amount of building space?
Yes, each player receives an equal-sized building plot. Use the guides on maximizing plot space to learn how to make the most of your area.
Can I play this map in creative mode?
The map is designed for survival-style building within the match structure, but you can adjust game mode settings in your world if you want unlimited resources.
What if players disagree on who won a round?
The voting system automatically tallies all votes to determine the winner—the player with the highest score is declared the round champion, removing any dispute.
Can I play multiple rounds in one session?
Yes, after each round completes and a winner is crowned, you can start a new round with the same or different build themes without leaving the map.
