Place blocks and spawn items by command for builds and maps
Besides giving items to your inventory, the pack has functions to place blocks directly and to spawn items in the world. They are useful for map makers and for exact placement.
Placing a block
1. Stand where you want the block, or look at the target spot.
2. Type:
`
/function place:bubblellaneous/
`
3. Press Tab to see the available block names, pick one, and press Enter.
The form is /function place:bubblellaneous/<block_name>.
Spawning an item
Use the spawn namespace in the same way:
`
/function spawn:bubblellaneous/<item_name>
`
Tab-complete the name to see what is available.
Using them in your own content
- Because these are ordinary functions, you can call them from your own data packs, command blocks or other functions.
- To run one at a specific position, use
execute positioned <x> <y> <z> run function place:bubblellaneous/<block_name>. - Test in a creative world first. If a function doesn't run, check that the pack is enabled and run
/reload.
