Add Your Own Music to the Server

Prepare Your Audio File

Custom music discs require a resource pack containing your audio file. Convert your music to OGG format (the standard Minecraft sound format). Name it clearly so you can identify it later—for example, mysong.ogg.

Create the Resource Pack Structure

Inside your resource pack, create the folder path: assets/custojukebox/sounds/records/. Place your OGG file in the records folder. Update the resource pack's sounds.json file to register your track with the correct namespace and subtitle.

Configure the Plugin

Add an entry for your custom disc in the plugin's configuration file. Specify the disc ID, display name, and the sound file path. Include the song length in seconds so the jukebox knows when to stop playing.

Load and Test

Run /cjb reload to update the plugin without restarting. Use /cjb gui to verify your new disc appears in the menu. Place the disc in a jukebox and test that the audio plays correctly and stops at the right time.
