How do I start using custom music discs?
First, make sure your server has a resource pack installed that includes the custom sounds. Then use /cjb gui to see all available custom discs, or craft one by collecting nine fragments and combining them in a crafting table.
Where do I find music fragments?
Fragments drop when a skeleton shoots a creeper, spawn in loot chests in dungeons/end cities/bastions, and have a small chance to drop when you defeat creepers yourself. Check your configuration file to adjust drop chances if fragments feel too rare or common.
Why isn't my custom disc playing music?
Make sure the resource pack with custom sounds is installed on your client and the server. Verify the disc is actually in your hand and you're right-clicking a jukebox. If music still doesn't play, check that the plugin is enabled in the config and try /cjb reload.
Can I use custom discs in claimed/protected land?
Yes, the plugin is designed to work safely in protected areas so players cannot place or remove jukeboxes in claimed land without permission.
How do I open the song selection menu?
Right-click an empty jukebox without holding any disc in your hand. A menu will appear showing all available custom discs you can play.
Do parrots dance to custom music?
Yes, if you bring a parrot within the dance radius (default is 3 blocks) of a playing jukebox, it will dance to the music. You can disable this or adjust the radius in the configuration file.
Can I craft multiple discs at once or use a different recipe?
You craft one disc at a time by placing nine fragments in a crafting table. The recipe cannot be changed, but you can adjust how many fragments are needed per disc in the configuration file.
What happens if I reload the plugin while music is playing?
Use /cjb reload to update settings without restarting the server. Music currently playing should continue, but it's safest to stop all jukeboxes before reloading to avoid issues.
Why are fragments not dropping from creepers?
Check that creeper-drops is enabled in your config and that a skeleton actually killed the creeper (not you). If the drop chance is very low, fragments may just be rare—try adjusting creeper-drop-chance in the configuration.
Can I see how long a custom song is before playing it?
The plugin tracks song length internally so music stops exactly when the track ends, but there's no in-game display showing duration. You can check the resource pack files or ask the server admin which discs are longer or shorter.
