Building a Safe Killer Bunny Breeding Farm
Why Containment Matters
Killer Bunnies are hostile and will attack players and many mobs. If a bred Killer Bunny escapes your pen, it can cause chaos around your base. Build your farm with that in mind.
Pen Design
- Use solid blocks or double fences so babies cannot slip through gaps.
- Keep the breeding pen separate from your main animal area.
- Add a roof or overhang if you want to prevent the Killer Bunny from being struck by lightning or wandering into danger.
- Leave a gate or door you can close quickly when entering.
Stocking the Farm
Bring in several pairs of regular rabbits so you always have breeding-ready parents. Feed each pair carrots to trigger hearts, then move the babies to a holding pen once they mature. Separate confirmed Killer Bunnies from normal ones so you do not accidentally breed the wrong stock.
Feeding and Upkeep
Keep a chest of carrots nearby. Rabbits need to be fed one carrot each to breed, and they have a cooldown before they can breed again. Check the pen regularly — a Killer Bunny that grows up among normal rabbits can surprise you if you forget which is which.
