Grow baby axolotls faster and hunt for a rare colour

Once you have a baby from breeding, you can speed up its growth and keep breeding for different colours.

Speed up growth

1. Hold a tropical fish item and use it on the baby axolotl.

2. Each feeding shortens the time it needs to grow up, and particles show it worked.

3. Repeat until it becomes an adult.

Use spare fish for this. You still need to keep fish back for breeding adults.

Chase a rare colour

Baby colour comes from the parents. Axolotls come in several colours, and the blue one is very rare. It only appears as a small random chance when two axolotls breed, so you may need many attempts.

1. Collect a good number of tropical fish by fishing.

3. Grow up each baby and add the adults to your breeding pool.

4. Keep the colours you want, and put extra axolotls in separate pools or use them elsewhere so the pool doesn't get crowded.

Because the mod only needs regular fish, you can keep trying without catching fish in buckets by hand.
