What to do after a death crash: recovering and finding the crash report
When you die with Break Me Mod installed, the game closes with a crash. This is intentional, and it doesn't mean your install or world is broken. Here's how to get back in.
Get back into your world
1. Close any leftover crash window or launcher error message.
2. Relaunch Minecraft.
3. Load your world from the list. It will be in the state of the last save, so recent progress may be missing.
4. Check your base chests and your position. If something important is gone, restore a backup if you made one.
Confirm the crash was from the mod
1. Open your Minecraft game folder and go to the crash-reports folder.
2. Open the newest file in a text editor.
3. Check that the report was created around the time you died. A crash that happens right when you die, and that mentions the mod, is the mod doing its job.
If crashes happen at other times, with no death involved, something else is causing them. Test again without other new mods.
Stop the crashes
If you're done with the challenge, close the game and remove the Break Me Mod file from your mods folder. Dying will then work normally again and the respawn screen will return. Put the file back in whenever you want the crashes back.
