Using Left-Hand and Right-Hand Bow Aiming
Hand-Specific Models
This resource pack includes separate bow and arrow models for left-hand and right-hand aiming. The correct model displays automatically based on your dominant hand setting.
How It Works
When you switch your bow to your off-hand using F (or your designated swap key), the entire bow model flips, and the arrow nocks on the opposite side of the bow. This creates a natural, realistic aiming position regardless of which hand holds your bow.
Why This Matters
Default Minecraft bows always aim the same way. With hand-specific models, left-handed players see their bow oriented correctly, and right-handed players do too. The arrow sits properly on the string from your perspective, making aiming feel more intuitive.
Switching Hands
Simply press F to swap your bow to your off-hand. The visual updates instantly. This is useful for:
- Aiming around obstacles from different angles
- Matching your preferred playstyle
- Creating more immersive first-person combat
The pack handles this automatically—no configuration needed.
