Freeing Up Inventory Space for Archers

Why One Slot Matters

Vanilla forces every Infinity archer to keep a single arrow in their inventory at all times. It is easy to forget, and it quietly eats a slot that could hold food, torches, or loot. This mod removes that hidden cost.

How to Reclaim the Slot

1. Install and confirm the mod is active for your version and loader.

2. Enchant your bow (or crossbow on supported versions) with Infinity.

3. Remove every arrow from your inventory — including arrows tucked into shulker boxes you are carrying, since vanilla counts those too.

4. Test-fire the bow once to confirm it still shoots.

5. Use the freed slot for whatever you actually need on your adventure.

Practical Tips

  • Keep a small stack of arrows in an ender chest or a nearby base chest if you also use non-Infinity bows or want arrows for other purposes.
  • If you switch between an Infinity bow and a regular bow, remember the regular bow still needs real arrows.
  • This is especially useful for long caving or exploration trips where every inventory slot counts.

The mod adds no items or blocks, so nothing about your storage setup needs to change — you simply stop reserving that slot.
