How to Complete Exploration Bounties

Accepting Exploration Tasks

Exploration bounties ask you to find and visit specific structures like Pillager Outposts, Ocean Monuments, or other generated buildings. Accept these quests from villagers just like monster hunts. Your compass tool works for exploration tasks too—it will point you toward the target structure.

Navigating to Your Destination

Open your Tracker Menu and select your exploration bounty to activate the compass. Follow it across your world, whether through forests, across oceans, or into mountains. The compass shows your distance to the target, helping you gauge how far you still need to travel. Exploration bounties work in the Nether as well, so you can hunt for structures in lava wastes and other dangerous dimensions.

Completing the Task

Reach the structure to complete the bounty—you don't need to do anything special once you arrive. Return to your Tracker Menu and claim your reward. Exploration bounties reward emeralds and standard items, making them good for steady income while you travel and gather resources.
