How to Accept and Track Your First Bounty

Finding and Accepting a Bounty

Walk up to any villager in your world and right-click to open their trading menu. Look for the new bounties button—this will show you available daily contracts. Click on a bounty that interests you to accept it. You can hold up to four active bounties at the same time, so feel free to accept multiple tasks from different villagers.

Tracking Your Bounty

Once you've accepted a bounty, press J to open your Tracker Menu. This screen displays all your active quests with details about what you need to do. Select the bounty you want to work on first—this activates your special compass tool.

The compass will point you directly toward your target, showing distance and direction. Keep an eye on it as you travel to avoid getting lost. You can switch between active bounties anytime by opening the Tracker Menu and selecting a different quest. When you complete a task, return to the Tracker Menu and claim your rewards—emeralds, items, or rare enchanted books will be added to your inventory.
