Bottle Your Xp Mod FAQ

6 questions players actually ask, answered.

What does the Bottle Your Xp Mod let you do with glass bottles?
It lets you use regular glass bottles to store your character's experience points as items. You can then keep the bottled XP safely in chests instead of losing it on death.
How do you bottle your XP?
Hold an empty glass bottle in your hand and sneak/crouch while right-clicking to turn your accumulated XP into an enchantment bottle. No crafting table is needed.
Does bottling your XP hurt your character?
Yes, by default the player takes damage each time an XP bottle is created. This can be disabled or adjusted through the mod's configurable settings.
What is the damageOnCreation setting?
It controls whether the player takes damage when creating an XP bottle, and it defaults to true. Setting it to false lets you bottle XP without taking any damage.
What does halfHeartDamageAmount control?
It sets how much damage the player takes when creating an XP bottle. This lets you fine-tune the cost of bottling your experience.
Do you need a crafting table to bottle your XP?
No, you only need an empty glass bottle and some accumulated XP. Just hold the bottle and sneak/crouch while right-clicking to bottle it.
