Prepare for the First Night
Surviving Extreme Early Constraints
You spawn in a tiny enclosed space with limited resources. Darkness falls quickly, and mobs will spawn. You must gather materials and prepare shelter before nightfall.
Immediate Actions
Punch trees: Break wood blocks by hand to craft a crafting table and wooden tools. Do this immediately—you have very limited time.
Mine stone: Use your wooden pickaxe to gather stone for better tools. Focus on coal if you find it; torches are essential.
Gather dirt and sand: Collect blocks you can stack to create a basic shelter or defensive wall.
Building Your First Shelter
You don't need anything elaborate. A small enclosed box with a door and torches will protect you from mobs. Place your crafting table and furnace inside. Light up every corner to prevent spawning.
Earning Initial XP
Once sheltered, focus on mining. Breaking stone and ore generates XP and expands your border slightly. This opens new areas to explore and gather resources.
Priority: Get stone tools, find coal, and establish a safe lit area before your first night ends. Expand your shelter once you're secure.
