How to review earlier pages while writing a book and quill
When you are writing a long book, you often want to check something you wrote many pages ago. The mod's scrolling is meant to make this easier than clicking the arrows repeatedly.
Steps
1. Hold the book and quill and right-click to open it.
2. Write your current page as usual.
3. To look back, scroll the mouse wheel in the direction that moves toward earlier pages. Scroll faster to cover more pages.
4. Read what you need, then scroll the opposite way to return to the page you were writing.
5. Click into the text and continue typing.
Things to know
- Pages you have written stay in the book as you move between them. Browsing does not delete your text.
- Remember to save your work. Sign the book only when you are finished, because signing locks it from further editing.
- If scrolling does not respond while the editing screen is open, use the arrow buttons at the bottom of the book screen. The mod's main purpose is making page navigation easier, and the arrows always work.
