How to get to a page far into a long book quickly

A book can hold up to one hundred pages. Clicking the arrow button dozens of times to reach page 80 is slow. With Book Scroll Mod, the speed of your scrolling sets how fast pages turn.

Fast travel

1. Open the book.

2. Spin the mouse wheel quickly in the direction you want to go. Faster scrolling moves through more pages per second.

3. Watch the page number as you go. The book shows which page you are on.

4. As you near your target, slow down.

Fine adjustment

• Scroll slowly, one notch at a time, to move a page at a time.
• If you overshoot, scroll back gently the other way until you reach the page you want.
• A free-spinning wheel (on mice that have one) is the quickest way to cross dozens of pages at once.

This works best as two steps. Make one fast sweep to get close, then slow notch-by-notch scrolls to land exactly where you want.
