Ash Greninja will transform immediately when it enters combat if its friendship value is above 250. Make sure you've raised your Greninja's friendship through battling and interacting with it before engaging in combat.

Battle Bond has been reworked in this pack—instead of transforming after a KO, Ash Greninja now transforms as soon as it enters battle when friendship exceeds 250, giving you the stat boost right away.

Protean has been restored to its pre-Gen 9 behavior, allowing Greninja to continuously change its type with each attack it uses rather than only once per switch-in.

The combat and idle animations work in both single player and multiplayer—you'll see Ash Greninja's updated movements and stances whenever it's in battle or standing idle.

The pack includes dedicated animations for signature moves like Night Slash, but not every move may have a custom animation—the mod prioritizes key attacks from Ash Greninja's moveset.

Since this is a data pack focused on Greninja mechanics and animations, compatibility depends on whether other mods also modify Greninja or the Battle Bond ability—check your mod list for conflicts with other Greninja-specific changes.
