How to Farm Bogged Drops

Because the mod makes bogged a share of all skeleton spawns, any place that produces skeletons will also produce some bogged. You can use that for steady drops.

Setting up

1. Pick a dark, enclosed area where skeletons already spawn, such as a cave room you have cleared out.

2. Make the spawning floor dark and big enough for many spawn attempts, and stay out of line of sight.

3. Funnel mobs into a drop or kill chamber so you can hit them safely without taking arrows.

4. Build a covered collection spot so daylight does not burn the mobs before you can reach them.

What to expect

  • Bogged drop the usual skeleton-type loot, including bones and arrows. They may also drop poison-tipped arrows.
  • Only a small fraction of skeleton spawns will be bogged, so a skeleton farm gives mostly regular skeleton drops with some bogged loot mixed in.
  • A farm in a place where skeletons spawn at a higher rate gives you more bogged, because their share is tied to total skeleton spawns.

Keep milk on hand while you work, since stray arrows will still poison you.
