How to Load Chunks From a Single-Player World Into a Server
Why This Works
Bobby can read region data from an existing single-player save and use it to fill in chunks the server has not sent. This is useful when you built something in a local world and want to see it while playing on a server, or when you want familiar terrain rendered around you.
Point Bobby at Your World
1. Open the Bobby configuration screen via Mod Menu or Cloth Config.
2. Locate the option for loading chunks from a local/single-player world and enable it.
3. Set the path to the saves folder of the world you want Bobby to read from, or select the world through the config UI if it offers a picker.
4. Save the config and reconnect to the server so Bobby reloads its chunk sources.
What You Will and Won't See
Bobby only supplies the chunk geometry and appearance it can read from that save. Blocks the server places that differ from your local world will still be overwritten by server data once those chunks arrive. Chunks the server never sends and that also don't exist in your local save remain empty. If terrain looks wrong, double-check you pointed at the correct world folder and that the world was saved recently.
