Enable or Disable Blood Effects for Specific Mob Categories
Controlling Which Mobs Show Effects
Blood N' Particles works on most mobs including Overworld animals, Nether creatures, End monsters, and special mobs like armadillos and axolotls. You can selectively enable or disable effects for certain categories.
Finding Mob Configuration Files
Navigate to your world's datapacks/ folder and open the Blood N' Particles data pack directory. Look for files that list or define which mobs trigger damage effects. These are usually organized by mob type or dimension.
Disabling Effects for Specific Mobs
To turn off blood effects for certain mobs, either remove them from the active mob list or add them to an exclusion list, depending on how the pack is structured. For example, you might disable effects on passive animals while keeping them for hostile mobs.
Reloading and Testing
Save your changes and run /reload. Attack the mobs you modified to confirm effects are enabled or disabled as intended. This is useful for performance optimization or creating a cleaner visual experience in specific situations.
