Export Custom Modded Blocks and Resource Pack Variants
Ensure Mods and Packs Are Loaded
Verify that all mods and resource packs you want to export from are installed and active in your Minecraft instance. Launch the game and confirm the custom blocks and textures appear correctly in-world.
Select Modded Blocks
Locate the custom blocks in your world or creative inventory. Blockstream Sculptor automatically recognizes modded blocks and their custom models. You can select multiple variants (e.g., different wood types, colored variants, or connected-texture blocks).
Configure for Complex Models
Open the export settings and enable:
- Custom Model Support: Ensures modded blocks with non-standard shapes export correctly.
- Connected Textures: If your blocks use connected texture rules, this preserves those connections in the export.
- Texture Variants: Captures random texture offsets and frame animations.
- Larger Atlas Size: Modded blocks often have more unique textures; use 4096 or 8192 pixels if needed.
Export and Verify
Export your selection. Open the glTF file in Blender to confirm all custom geometry, textures, and details are preserved. Modded blocks will appear exactly as they do in-game.
