Export a Single Block for 3D Editing
Prepare Your Selection
Locate the block you want to export in your world. This can be a vanilla block, a modded block, or any block from an installed resource pack. Stand near it or have it visible in your creative inventory.
Export the Block
Open the Blockstream Sculptor interface (usually accessible via a keybind or command). Select the block from your inventory or by targeting it in the world. Choose your export settings:
- Texture Atlas Size: Select a resolution that matches your needs (smaller files export faster, larger sizes preserve fine detail).
- Output Format: Confirm glTF 2.0 is selected as your export format.
- Thread Count: Increase threads if you have a multi-core CPU and want faster processing.
Click Export. The mod will generate a .glb or .gltf file with all textures embedded or referenced.
Open in Blender
Launch Blender and import the exported file via File > Import > glTF 2.0. The block will appear with its original textures and any biome coloring already baked in. You can now rotate, light, and render it for screenshots or animations.
