Block Party Havoc Mod FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I open a minigame?
Press the designated keybind (default is a configurable key) to open the Block Party Havoc menu, then select any of the eight minigames from the interface. Each game will launch in its own screen overlay that you can close anytime to return to your world.
Can I play minigames in multiplayer or only singleplayer?
Minigames are personal to each player—your scores and leaderboards are tracked individually even on multiplayer servers. Other players won't see your game screen, and playing a minigame won't affect the shared world.
Do minigames pause my game or keep mobs spawning?
When you open a minigame, your world remains active in the background—mobs can still spawn and move, and other players can interact with your surroundings. If you want to be safe, pause your world or find a secure location before playing.
Why can't I see my high scores on the leaderboard?
Make sure you've completed at least one full game—scores only appear on leaderboards after finishing a minigame. If your score still doesn't show, try closing and reopening the leaderboard menu to refresh it.
What's the difference between the quick-action games and puzzle games?
Puzzle games like 2048, Tetris, Sudoku, and Minesweeper require strategy and planning, while quick-action games like Snake, Bubble Shooter, Cookie Clicker, and Dino focus on reflexes and continuous play. Both types track scores separately on their own leaderboards.
Can I create my own custom minigame?
Yes—the mod includes a built-in developer API that lets you create custom minigames. You'll need to use the API documentation to code your game and integrate it into the mod's interface system.
Do minigames work with other mods that change the UI?
Most UI mods are compatible, but conflicts can occur with mods that heavily modify the HUD or menu system. If minigames don't display correctly, try disabling other UI mods one at a time to identify the culprit.
Can I reset my leaderboard scores?
Leaderboard data is typically stored per-world or per-player profile depending on your setup. Check the mod's configuration files or settings menu for options to clear scores, or delete the leaderboard data file directly if you want a fresh start.
Why is my score not saving after I close a minigame?
Make sure you complete the game fully (reach an end state like game over or victory) rather than just closing the menu—incomplete games may not register. If scores still aren't saving, check that your world has write permissions and the mod is fully loaded.
Do minigames affect my FPS or cause lag?
Minigames run as UI overlays and shouldn't significantly impact performance, but playing on low-end systems might see minor FPS drops depending on your world's complexity. If you experience lag, try lowering your render distance or disabling other resource-heavy mods.
