Stop Players from Placing Certain Blocks

Locate the Configuration File

Open your mod folder and navigate to config > blockblocker-common.toml. This file controls all block placement and breaking rules.

Find the Placement Rules Section

Look for a section related to block placement restrictions, typically labeled unplaceable, cannot_place, or similar. This section lists blocks that players cannot place.

Add Blocks to the List

Add the block ID you want to restrict. The format should match:

`

unplaceable_blocks = ["minecraft:tnt", "minecraft:lava"]

`

Include the full block ID (namespace:block_name) and separate multiple entries with commas.

Save and Test

Save the file and restart your server or reload the configuration. Have a player attempt to place the restricted block—placement should fail.

Customize Messages (Optional)

Some configurations allow you to set custom denial messages. Check if your config file has a message or feedback section where you can specify what players see when they try to place a blocked block.
