Blades Of Majestica Resource Pack FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I get a Blades of Majestica sword in my hand?
Take any sword in Minecraft, put it in an anvil, and rename it to the name of the model you want, such as "katana" or "hero sword". Take the renamed sword from the output slot and the new model will show up. The pack does not add new craftable items, so the sword you rename is the one you keep.
What names can I type in the anvil?
The names are: rivers of blood, cyber katana, epic sword, steel sword, jade halberd, creation splitter, mythic blade, katana, soul edge, molten katana, molten blade, sunbreak, thousand demon daggers, frost scythe, moonlight greatsword, legendary sword, hero sword, mjolnir, acidic cleaver, demonic cleaver, demonic blade, bloody death, and netherite sword.
I renamed my sword but it still looks like a normal sword. What's wrong?
First check that the resource pack is enabled in Options > Resource Packs and is on the active side of the list. Then check the name for typos or extra spaces, and compare it to the name list. If the name is right and the pack is active, try reloading resources and renaming the sword again.
Does the name need to be capitalized exactly?
Type the name as it appears in the list, using plain words and spaces and no extra symbols. Anvil names are shown as you type them, so a stray character or a typo can stop the model from showing. If it fails, retype the name from scratch.
Which sword should I rename, wooden, iron, diamond or netherite?
Any sword works, so pick based on the stats you want, not on looks. The model only changes the appearance and the sword's behavior stays that of the base item. Most players rename their best sword, such as a netherite one, so the cool model goes on the weapon they actually use.
Does renaming a sword change its damage or abilities?
No. This is a resource pack, so it only changes how the item looks. Damage, durability, and enchantments all come from the original sword. Mjolnir, for example, looks like a hammer but does not gain lightning or any special power.
Does it cost XP to rename a sword?
Renaming in an anvil uses the normal vanilla anvil rules, so it costs a small amount of experience levels. The cost can rise if the sword already has enchantments or has been worked on in an anvil before. The pack does not change the cost.
Can I use the same model on more than one sword?
Yes. You can rename as many swords as you like to the same name and each one will show that model. This is handy if you want matching weapons for different roles, like a spare in your hotbar.
Can I rename a sword to get a model without losing my enchantments?
Yes. Renaming keeps the enchantments on the sword, and only the display name and the look change. Rename it before or after enchanting, whichever suits you, but remember the anvil cost can go up on heavily enchanted items.
Will this pack hurt my FPS or work with other resource packs?
It only swaps in sword models, so it is light and should not cause any noticeable slowdown. If you use other packs that also change swords, the one higher in the resource pack list wins. Put Blades of Majestica above them if the renamed models are not appearing.
