Stun Enemies by Filling Their Posture Meter
Understanding Posture Damage
Every mob and player has a posture meter based on their body size and armor. Unlike health damage, posture damage accumulates from repeated hits and reflects how much pressure an enemy can withstand before breaking.
How to Build Posture and Trigger Stuns
Attack enemies continuously with your equipped weapon. Each hit fills their posture meter alongside regular health damage. When the posture bar completely fills, the target becomes stunned—they cannot move or attack for a brief period.
Maximizing Stun Damage
During a stun, the enemy is completely vulnerable. Use this window to:
- Land heavy attacks or finisher moves from your skill menu
- Reposition yourself for safety
- Build additional posture damage before they recover
Keep up offensive pressure rather than backing away. Weapons with different movesets build posture at different rates, so experiment with your equipped item to find what works best against specific enemy types. Heavy weapons typically deal more posture damage per hit than faster alternatives.
