Craft a Lure Campfire and place it on the ground, then fill it with Flesh Blocks and light it with Flint and Steel. A Queen boss will appear—defeat her to unlock your hive. After that, craft the Guide item to learn how to grow your colony.

Flesh Blocks are found naturally in the world or can be harvested from defeated creatures. You can also find them in Insect Villages or generate them through your colony's organic machinery once you've established your hive.

You'll respawn at your spawn point, but the Queen will remain in the world. You can gather more Flesh Blocks and attempt the fight again whenever you're ready—there's no time pressure or penalty.

The mod is optimized for performance, but having many creatures and large organic structures active at once may impact frame rate depending on your system. Consider adjusting render distance or creature spawn rates if you experience slowdowns.

Once biomes mutate and Insect Villages generate, those changes are permanent in that world. If you want to explore vanilla terrain, you'll need to venture far from your colony or start a new world.
